Medieval Verona

The Scaligeri left a remarcable heritage in the province of Verona and the city itself boasts many medieval constructions dating back to the 1300s, that was the century in which Romeo and Juliet lived.

Half-day walking tour: Starting from Castelvecchio, the oldest castle in town, the walking will proceed towards Corte Sgarzerie, the Church of Saint Anastasia, Romeo’s and Juliet’s House, the Tombs and Palaces of Della Scala, Piazza Dante and Piazza Erbe, the market square.
